GROUP EXERCISE
Group Exercise Classes (both land and water) are free with your YMCA Membership! If you are not a YMCA Member, you are able to purchase a day pass to attend classes. Class attendees must be 12 years of age or older. Family day passes are $25, Individual day passes are $15. Click here to learn more about day passes.
Group Exercise classes are a great way to explore new ways to challenge your body, get in a favorite workout, make and spend time with friends, and take part in shared accountability to wellness. The YMCA of the Chippewa Valley offers a variety of group exercise classes for all fitness levels and interest types.

The Eau Claire South YMCA offers group exercise classes in its Strength & Cardio Studio, Pool (Water Aerobics), Yoga & Pilates Studio, Spin Studio, & Heated Yoga Studio.
EAU CLAIRE DOWNTOWN YMCA
The Eau Claire Downtown YMCA offers group exercise classes in its Spin Studio, Pool (Water Aerobics), & Cardio Studio.
Group Exercise Rules & Guidelines
A wide variety of group exercise classes are included at no additional charge as part of your YMCA membership. Individuals ages 12 and older at all fitness levels are welcome to participate. Registration is not necessary for most classes and may be attended on a drop-in basis. Class sizes may be limited and are first-come, first-served. Registration is required for fee-based specialty classes.
• YMCA instructors will remove a member/guest for safety issues or disruptive behavior.
• Complete class schedule listings are available at the Member Service Desk, or on our website.
• Comfortable clothing and closed-toe athletic shoes are recommended.
• Members must follow the class guidelines and instructor’s directions. It is highly recommended to see a physician before beginning an exercise program, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.
