As summer is upon us, you will see lots of activity in our building and across the street.

 

Day camp is full with 130 students. Youth programs and leagues running throughout the days and in the evenings. Gyms are constantly busy.

 

Please continue to check our gym schedules as there are a lot of youth programs happening. Schaaf gym is particularly busy.

 

Volleyball

• We will continue to have open volleyball on Sundays into Monday mornings. Nets will be set up upon request during these times.

 

Pickleball

• Hobbs gym can be reserved for Pickleball during select times.

• Schaaf Gym will have some open Pickleball times as well. Please check schedule.

 

Thank you all for continuing to support the Y. As you can see, the Downtown Y is a busy place.

 

We continue to work to improve the Y for our Members:

• New Treadmills have been installed

• New wall and plumbing upgrades in the women’s locker room

• Fresh paint around the building

• New dumbbells in the Group Exercise Room

• Replacing pads on work out equipment.

• Sauna and hot tub repairs in the Spa Area.

• The East parking lot (across the street) is scheduled to be repaired later this summer.

 

Reminder that our Pools and Spa area will be closed the last week of August, reopening on Sept 3rd.
